Access the Centrifugal Compressor Bearing

Remove the Serpentine Belt
To get to the bearing, you’ll need to remove the serpentine belt. Look for the belt tensioner, use a wrench or a special tool to move it, and slip the belt off the pulleys.

Remove the Centrifugal Compressor Bearing Clutch
Next, you’ll need to take off the centrifugal compressor bearing clutch. This might require a special puller tool. Once removed, you’ll have access to the bearing.

Extract the Old Bearing
Now, it’s time to remove the old bearing. This could require gently tapping it out with a hammer and a punch or using a bearing puller if it’s stuck.

Install the New Bearing
