If accompanied by an abnormal rise in bearing temperature, shut down the unit immediately for inspection and confirmation.

II. Judgment Upon Disassembly and Overhaul (Accurate Judgment)

Once the gasket is removed, replacement is mandatory if any of the following conditions occurs:

Material aging: The gasket hardens, turns brittle, develops cracks, or swells, softens and becomes sticky due to medium erosion, losing its elastic resilience.

Physical damage: The gasket edge suffers crushing, notching or shear damage, or its overall deformation cannot be restored; the sealing surface has uneven compression indentations or fracture marks.

Replacement-upon-disassembly principle: This gasket is a flat compression-type static seal that achieves sealing through compression resilience. Once removed during disassembly, permanent compression deformation has occurred and its sealing performance drops significantly. Reuse is not recommended even if there is no visible damage. In principle, a new gasket shall be replaced synchronously during disassembly and overhaul.
