026-46326-002 is the original factory oil pump for the YK series centrifugal chiller unit from York (YORK / Johnson Controls). Its full name is Pump Oil 20 GPM YK. It is manufactured in the United States, with a metal pump body (gray in color), and weighs approximately 21.2 kg.
Key parameters: Rated flow rate is 20 GPM (gallons/minute, approximately 76 L/min). The interface and installation dimensions are consistent with the original part, allowing for direct in-place replacement without the need for modifying the oil circuit. It is the official direct replacement for the old part number 026-37937-000. In the same series, 026W37937-000 is also commonly seen. When selecting the model, it is necessary to check and confirm according to the specific model of the chiller unit and the year of manufacture. Do not judge solely based on the flow rate.
Function and Importance: This oil pump is responsible for continuously and stably delivering lubricating oil to the bearings, gears, and other moving parts of the compressor, performing three functions: lubrication, cooling, and wear reduction. If the oil pump fails, it will cause an alarm of low oil pressure difference. In mild cases, the chiller unit will be protected and shut down. In severe cases, the lubrication of the compressor will be interrupted, leading to shaft seizure, bearing burnout, and is one of the most core components of the centrifugal unit.
