1. Safety preparations. Power off and disconnect the equipment, hang signs and lock them; ensure that the tested pipeline has been depressurized or isolated, and wear safety goggles and gloves. Check the nameplate specifications, interface, and output form of the new component.
2. Mechanical installation. Apply a thin layer of appropriate sealant on the threads (to avoid blocking the diaphragm holes), then screw in the 1/4″-18 NPTF interface by hand, and then tighten the hexagonal body with a wrench - do not apply force on the shell or electrical plug. It is recommended to tighten according to the manufacturer's specifications torque. Over-tightening will damage the diaphragm.
3. Orientation. It can be installed horizontally or vertically, with the pressure interface facing downward; the cable/plug outlet should face downward to prevent water from seeping into the cable along the line. Install the body first and then fix the cable (the installation guide of Danfoss clearly requires this sequence).
4. Wiring. Connect according to the pin definitions: Pin 1 (+ power supply, approximately 5 VDC), Pin 2 (- common), Pin 3 (signal output); single-point ground the shielding layer, do not short-circuit it to the shell. After connection, confirm that the plug is in place. IP65 requires a matching plug for connection.
5. Calibration and operation. After powering on, compare the panel readings with the standard pressure gauge, and check the zero point and full scale. If the deviation exceeds the limit, check the wiring and range setting, not the on-site zero adjustment - this type of transmitter cannot be adjusted the zero point and range.
