1. The range is compatible with the exhaust side conditions. The full range of 300 psi covers the common condensing/exhaust pressure range of R134a units, unlike 0–400 or 0–650 psi which waste resolution. The conversion relationship is V = 0.5 + P/75, which is approximately 13.3 mV/psi. The reverse calculation is P = (V − 0.5) × 75. Measuring the signal voltage with a multimeter on site can quickly calibrate.
2. Proportional output is resistant to power supply fluctuations. The output is consistently 10%–90% of the supply voltage, and the control board uses the same 5 V as the A/D reference. The power supply ripple is simultaneously cancelled in the numerator and denominator, and the long-distance transmission within the unit does not lose accuracy. This is superior to 4–20 mA or absolute voltage output schemes.
3. Sealed gauge pressure reference. An internal reference atmospheric pressure of 1013 mbar is sealed in, and the reading is not affected by altitude and seasonal air pressure changes. Different regional units do not need to be recalibrated to zero, and the part interchangeability is good.
4. SAE straight thread + O-ring seal. Different from 1/4″ NPTF tapered thread, 1/2″-20 UNF is a straight thread, sealed by the O-ring end face, which can be repeatedly disassembled without damaging the sealing surface, is resistant to vibration loosening, and is more reliable in the high-pressure pulsation environment on the exhaust side.
5. Resistive silicon core body, combining accuracy and stability. Typical ±0.3% FS, non-linearity ±0.2% FS, selective temperature compensation in the full temperature range; laser welding for airtightness, resistant to refrigerant micro-leakage; stainless steel liquid-contact components can withstand exhaust high temperature and pressure shock.
6. Installation and maintenance are convenient. The response time is approximately 4 ms, which can keep up with the compressor's transient state; the factory calibration is completed, on-site calibration of zero and range is not necessary or required; when tightening, clamp the hexagonal body, apply a small amount of refrigerant oil to the O-ring, install the body first, then fix the cable and plug, with the outlet facing down to prevent water accumulation.
