1. What is measured is "vibration" rather than "static pressure". Ordinary transmitters output a smooth DC signal reflecting the pressure level. This device specifically captures the rotational stall pressure waves generated when the compressor operates at low load and high head, and outputs pulsating DC voltage that varies with the intensity of the stall - this is its indispensable core capability.
2. The logic for judgment is clear and intuitive. The stall detection board converts the pulsating voltage into amplitude, and displays it as STALL DETECTOR VOLTAGE on the VGD screen. For a typical YK unit: a voltage lower than 0.5 VDC indicates no stall, and a voltage higher than 0.8 VDC indicates the appearance of stall noise. Based on this, the microboard compares it with the upper and lower limit set values and drives the VGD ring to narrow the diffuser gap, increase the airflow velocity to eliminate the stall, and in case of surge, it automatically closes the valve.
3. Supports automatic optimization control. VGD always remains in the "most open position without generating stall", which not only reduces stall noise but also avoids unnecessary throttling loss, balancing the efficiency and operational stability of the unit.
4. Equipped with self-check channels. The unprocessed pulsating voltage is sent to the microboard J8-1 via J2-2, used for the Stall Sensor Validation function, to determine whether the sensor itself is faulty.
5. Straight thread O-ring seal. At the exhaust turbine shell, the vibration is strong and the pressure is high. The O-ring seal is more resistant to loosening and micro-leakage than the conical thread.
