AKS 1008 is the Danfoss pressure transmitter used on Trane chillers (Trane P/N TDR00354), range 0–475 psig, 9–32 VDC supply, 4–20 mA output, 1/4 NPTF process connection. It ships in the Danfoss red box with the matching Trane outer carton, ready to screw into the existing tapping and plug into the harness. Small and light, easy to add to any parcel.

Q: 2..Can I use a generic pressure transmitter as a substitute?
A:Mechanically a 4–20 mA transmitter with the same range and thread may fit, but the controller is calibrated to the Danfoss AKS curve. A generic unit can read off by a few psi and trigger nuisance alarms. Use the factory P/N.
Q: 3.My display is dim but not dead - should I replace it?
A:If segments are missing, buttons are unresponsive, or the screen flickers when you press a key, the panel is on its way out. Order a replacement before a service call when you cannot read pressures on site.
