Trane Val09074 Solenoid Valve

This product is an electromagnetic valve body, model VAL09074 (Solenoid Valve Body, Less Coil), with interface specification 0.375″ ODS (3/8 inch outer diameter welded interface), two normally closed design, made of brass, used to control the on-off of refrigerant or water pipeline in the air conditioning unit.
Special note: This product is the valve body itself, without the electromagnetic coil. It needs to be purchased separately along with specifications such as COL04537 or COL0169E for coil assembly for use; if the original coil size matches, it can also be used, but it is recommended to replace simultaneously to ensure sufficient magnetic force and reliable operation.
The valve body adopts a pilot diaphragm structure. When powered on, the electromagnetic force drives the valve core to open, and after power off, it closes by relying on the spring and medium pressure. The normally closed design can strictly cut off the pipeline when the unit is shut down, preventing the refrigerant from migrating in the system and avoiding liquid strike or oil strike when restarting, and is a key control component in the liquid pipe and liquid supply return lines. The brass shell is resistant to pressure and corrosion, can adapt to high-pressure refrigerant circulation, has reliable sealing and low pressure drop.
