As an OEM component of the Danfoss AKS series, its technical advantages stem from the four design principles publicly disclosed by Danfoss:
1. Laser welding, permanent airtightness. The entire housing is laser welded and each piece is helium leak-tested. Regardless of the refrigerant type, temperature range, or service life, it maintains 100% airtightness, preventing drift and failure caused by micro-leakage of refrigerants through gaps.
2. Resistive silicon measurement core. The silicon material has excellent strength and retains its original performance under high and low pressure and extreme temperatures. It is particularly suitable for oil circuit conditions with frequent pressure peaks; the overload resistance can reach several times the range and can withstand millions of cycles.
3. Targeted temperature compensation. Danfoss optimizes by purpose area: oil pressure/exhaust transmitters compensate for the working temperature range of 0–80 ℃, and intake type compensates for -30–40 ℃. This component is for oil pressure purposes, precisely falling within the oil temperature range, resulting in the most accurate reading.
4. Proportional output, lowest total cost of ownership. 0.5–4.5 VDC proportional signals are paired with 5 V power supply, no need for an additional 12/24 V power supply and overvoltage protection, and the control board samples using the same reference, with accuracy superior to 4–20 mA or absolute voltage signals; input reverse connection is protected.
5. Full metal packaging + EMC protection. Integrated circuits are shielded by a metal casing, meeting international standards for emission and anti-interference, and do not give false alarms in environments with strong interference from frequency converters and compressors.
6. Robust and durable. Stainless steel contact components, resistant to impact, vibration, and pressure shock, IP65 (with mating plugs), no on-site calibration required, short downtime for replacement.
