WEL00057 is the original Trane factory thermistor temperature bulb sleeve assembly (model name WELL; BULB ASSEMBLY, THERMISTOR). The short code is WEL0057. In the domestic list, it is written as "sensor sleeve". WEL refers to Well, which is a temperature measurement well, and it is a mechanical part: the closed end is inserted into the water or refrigerant pipeline to isolate the medium from the pressure. The SENS series probes are inserted from the open end and are tightly sealed by the CON00204 sleeve. Changing the probe does not require draining or recovering the refrigerant. The sleeve protects the probe from erosion, but it increases thermal inertia. It must be inserted all the way down and coated with thermal conductive paste; otherwise, the reading will be lagging.
