1. Advantage：

A contactor that has welded its main contacts does not fail quietly: the driven motor keeps running after the stop command, or the panel trips on overload the moment the pump or compressor restarts. Welding usually starts with contact erosion from a coil that has been held below its pick-up voltage, and that is where this unit differs.

The UC coil takes AC or DC 220-240 V and stays reliable from 0.8 to 1.1 times rated voltage, so a control circuit that sags during a start does not leave the armature half closed, and a varistor inside the coil suppresses the switching spike that damages timers and PLC inputs on the same rail. The main circuit is the S10 frame with busbar terminals and screw connections, sized for 185 mm2 cable and 300 A continuous in AC-3 duty, with an AC-1 rating of 330 A at 40 degrees for resistive loads.

Two normally-open and two normally-closed auxiliary contacts are integrated, mirror-contacted to IEC 60947-4-1, so a safety circuit can be read without adding a separate auxiliary block. Mounting is on a vertical plane, bolted, side-by-side with the same frame size allowed.
