York 331-02507-613 VSD Logic Board Kit​

York 331-02507-613 Original VSD Logic Board Kit (KIT, VSD LOGIC BOARD), for York air-cooled screw chiller variable frequency drive cabinet, belongs to the specific configuration version of the 331-02507-6XX series, which is divided according to the model of the unit, the number of compressors, voltage and frequency (confirmed in the same family: -602 / -603 correspond to YCIV, where -603 indicates 2 compressors; -604 corresponds to YCAV; -611 corresponds to YVAA / YVWA; -612, -614 are other configurations of the same series). The kit contains the compatible VSD logic board and the accompanying program chip, jumpers and installation hardware. It has been pre-programmed at the factory and can be replaced entirely without downloading additional programs. It replaces the discontinued 031-02477-000.
Working principle: The unit's microprocessor communicates with the VSD logic board via a three-core optically isolated RS-485 data link. The logic board determines the number of compressors to be put into operation according to the master control instructions and drives the compressors to reach the required speed by the master control, achieving 100% to 10% stepless capacity regulation, eliminating the slide valve and its unloading mechanism (reducing the compressor moving parts by approximately 50%), while providing soft start, no impact current, high power factor. The onboard second microprocessor generates PWM signals to drive IGBT, the FPGA is responsible for rapid hardware-level protection, and controls the pre-charging of the DC bus, monitoring the bus voltage, motor current and IGBT substrate temperature, the LM34 sensor monitors the temperature inside the cabinet, and triggers an emergency shutdown in case of over-limit.
